Bio:
Hello, I'm Kelly Shipman, and thanks for looking around my site.
I grew up in eastern Washington. After receiving a business degree and spending 3 long years selling cellphones, I decided it was time to move across the state and pursue my dream of making video games. I re-entered college studying game art at the now closed Henry Cogswell College. After graduating, I took a temp job that ended up lasting nearly 4 years testing Xbox games and hardware, spending most of that time directing testing of XBLA games. No closer to my dream, I began taking classes at
Futurepoly and decided to leave my job and spend all my time working on a portfolio.
It was a huge gamble, but my passion for game art leaves me with little choice but to put all the cards on the table and make that dream a reality.
