This is an environment based on a set of sketches by Matthew Barrett as an attempt to take someone else’s concept and bring it into 3d.

I intentionally chose to use rough concepts so as to not lean entirely on someone else’s visual style. I also wanted to explore the full environment, and not just recreate a highly detailed concept painting. It was a great exercise to explore the aesthetics of these buildings and think about how the environment would have worn on them.
